FIELD: road construction.
SUBSTANCE: road curb is designed to border road safety islands placed on both sides of the central area in the zebra crossing zone, and can be used mainly at unregulated pedestrian crossings. The road curb is a curved closed structure consisting of standard modular blocks made of granilite. Each of the blocks has an acute angle of inclination to the road surface on the front side, which reduces the load from being hit by a vehicle wheel, and a protrusion on the inside with a hole for attaching to the road surface using a chemical anchor.
EFFECT: reduction in labor intensity and acceleration of installation and repair work.
