FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining, in particular - to a device for elimination of fog in mines. It contains a vortex tube with a nipple for outlet of a warm air flow and a pipeline for discharge of a warm air flow and a pipeline for discharge of a cold air flow. On the inner surface of the nipple for outlet of a warm air flow guides are arranged whose curvature is equipped by negative rotation of a helical curve. On the inner surface of the nipple for outlet of heated air guides are arranged whose curvature is formed by positive rotation of a helical curve. The housings of the nipple for outlet of a warm air flow and the nipple for outlet of heated air are made of bimetal. The material of the inner surface of the nipple for outlet of a warm air flow has a thermal conductivity coefficient that exceeds that of the outer surface material by a factor of 2-2.5. The material of the inner surface of the nipple for outlet of heated air has a thermal conductivity coefficient that is less than that of the outer surface material by a factor of 2-2.5.
EFFECT: device enables elimination of risk of sealing of solid particles in the form of rust and/or scale on the inner surfaces of the nipples at the maximum values of temperature gradients, intensifies removal of fog from an excavation.
