FIELD: wind-power engineering. SUBSTANCE: wind-electric power plant has high-speed multiblade turbine mounted on tubular bracket behind plant support. Power take-off shaft passed through bracket couples turbine hub with reduction gear. High speed of turbine is attained due to arrangement of its shaped blades on [periphery of swept surface between shaped shroud rings joined to turbine hub by means of shaped spars. Shroud rings are shaped to raise flow speed and form, together with blades, nozzle assembly. Turbine protection against runaway and drag reduction is effected by securing moving blades on radial axles and spring-loading them. To prevent cable twisting during nacelle turning, electric generator is mounted vertically so that its axis of revolution is aligned with that of nacelle. Generator rotor shaft is hollow to pass turbine brake control element through it. EFFECT: improved design. 6 cl, 3 dwg
