FIELD: physics; control.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to diagnosis of the technical state of a main pipeline lying under water and can be used for emergency warning on the technical state of a deep-water main pipeline. The method involves reception of information on parametres affecting the technical state of the main pipeline from various sensors lying along the pipeline. The received information is then sent through cables to processing units lying with given spacing on the surface of the surface of the water body in positive buoyancy buoys. The processing units include random access memory units in which the received information on the technical state of the main pipeline is stored. The received information is read and transmitted to coastal processing apparatus over a radio channel using a satellite communication system or from a helicopter, in which the technical state of the main pipeline is monitored.
EFFECT: easier monitoring of the technical state of a main pipeline.
