FIELD: physics; control.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline transportation and can be used in diagnosing technical state of main pipelines. The essence of the engineering solution with regards to the method lies in that, intellectual control-measurement systems (ICMS) are installed along main pipelines with given spacing, fitted with sensors for parametres affecting the technical state of the main pipelines, random-access memory (RAM) and a wireless modem. Aircraft fitted with a computer system, navigation equipment and a wireless modem flies along the main pipeline and reads information stored in the RAM of the ICMS. The essence of the engineering solution with regards to the device lies in the original design of the ICMS and its antenna. The latter is made anti-vandal, for which the system additionally has n similar intellectual control-measurement points along the main pipeline. Each intellectual control-measurement point additionally has RAM connected to a central processing unit through a two-way connection and the control input of the wireless modem is connected to the output of the central processing unit through a two-way connection as well. All elements of the intellectual control-measurement points are placed underground in a protective casing. The photo module and the transceiving antenna are mounted to the top end of an upright post whose bottom end is buried in the ground. The light sensitive plane of the photo module is at an angle of 5-10° to the horizontal and the upright post is more than 1.5 m tall.
EFFECT: more efficient diagnosis of the technical state of main pipelines.
