FIELD: weapons.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ordnance ballistics. Device to define ballistic parametres (initial velocity, angle of departure, ballistic coefficient, velocity on trajectory, coordinates) of bullets and projectiles in direct laying to vertical obstacles consists of two transducers mounted on target and integrated into two groups with equal amount of acoustic transducers. Transducers are fitted on opposite sides of the target rigid frame so that every group is displaced in opposite directions from target center for half the spacing between adjacent transducers and target plane transducers are oriented to wards target center and turned to position through Mach angle corresponding to mean velocity of bullets being tested.

EFFECT: determination of coordinates and velocity of approach to plane of registration.
