SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to determine coordinates of position in space and time of bullets and shells. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that recording the moments of time of passage of the front of a sound shock wave through acoustic sensors, at that, using two pairs of microphones, constructing two hyperbolas, besides, each of the hyperbolas is constructed in the form of an array of segments connected to each other, determining a common point of intersection of segments from two arrays, which is the unknown coordinate X, Y of the bullet or projectile hit.
EFFECT: high accuracy of determining coordinates of bullets or projectile hitting a target.
