FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, in particular to production of fodder additives. Selenium-containing fodder additive for cattle comprises selenium-modified hydrolysate connective-tissue protein elastin absorbed on zeolite. At that zeolite and selenium-modified hydrolysate of elastin are taken in the ratio 1:1, and zeolite is used with particle size of 0.1-1.0 mm.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to produce non-toxic fodder additive for cattle, to improve digestibility of fodders by animals, to increase safety and growth of cattle live mass, to reduce duration of additive production.
