FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of feed additives for farm birds. The complex feed additive for farm birds contains hydrolysates of elastin connective tissue protein modified with selenium and iodine respectively. For modification of elastin hyrolysate wit selenium one takes sodium selenite in amount of 50-200 mcg of selenium per 1 g of protein while for elastin hyrolysate wit iodine one takes potassium iodide in amount of 50-250 mcg of iodine per 1 g of protein. The obtained selenium-hydrolysate and iodine-hydrolysate complexes are mixed at a ratio of 1:1 and absorbed on zeolite at a ratio of 2:1.
EFFECT: invention usage will allow to obtain bound organic forms of selenium and iodine microelements enhancing their accessibility for the organism and to increase birds average daily live weight gain.
