FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to surgery and can be applied in surgical treatment of deep frostbites of extremities, including hands or feet. Longitudinal cuts of skin and subcutaneous fat and fasciotomy are performed along the whole affected area. Transverse cuts are made within healthy tissue at 1.0-1.5 cm distance from demarcation line edge. All cuts are made in undulated manner, crossing regional superfascial lymphatics. Continuous cut is made along the contour of fingers or toes. Autodermic grafting is performed at the sites where diastasis is over 3 cm over 14 days period.
EFFECT: possible restrain of inflammation focus, reduced risk of phlegmon and gangrene development.
