FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to oncology, and can be used in surgery and chemotherapy of brain neoplasms. The method is implemented as follows: the tumour extraction is followed by intraoperative intake of the perifocal brain tissue in amount 1 cm3. Then perifocal tissue is incubated with carboplatin 0.2 mg added in vitro at temperature 38°C for 30 minutes and placed in a container made of a haemostatic sponge. Haemostasis is performed, the container is arranged in a bed of the extracted tumour with taking liquor on 2nd, 4th, 7th, 10th, 12th days to detect the chemopreparation in all portions.
EFFECT: use of the invention allows intensifying the antineoplastic effect, prolonging the recurrence-free period due to action of carboplatin incubated with the perifocal tissue.
