FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry. Proposed mix comprises the following components, wt %: orthophosphoric acid - 18-30, saw dust - 2-10, coal ash, flue dust of thermal electric power station with fusibility of at least 1300°C and total content of Na2O, K2O, CaO not exceeding 5% that makes the rest. Discard head of mould inside is lined by aforesaid heat-insulation mix, mix layer thickness making 0.2 to 0.25 of discard head diametre.
EFFECT: high heat-insulation properties that ensures higher yield of suitable metal and savings of liquid metal.
