FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: vibration isolator for buildings, structures includes a layer of rubber with reinforcement in the form of rectangular metal plates protruding beyond dimensions of a rubber layer and thermally fixed to a layer of rubber along support surfaces. On central sections of side surfaces of rubber layer there are trapezoid grooves arranged, with smooth coupling of rectilinear and inclined sections, at the same time dimensions and location of grooves on side surfaces, with the condition of preserving rectangular shape of deformed vibration isolator, are determined by the following ratios: H0≥C1≥H0/2; L1,2/2≥D1,2≥1,2H0 D1,2≥F1,2≥0; 0.2L2≥K1,2≥0,02L1, where indices 1, 2 indicate relation to larger (1) and smaller (2) sides of vibration isolator. Ho - height of rubber layer, C1 - value of reinforcement protrusion beyond dimensions of rubber layer, D1,2 - distance from angles of vibration isolator to the beginning of groove, F1,2 - distance from the beginning to the end of inclined section of groove, K1,2 - maximum value of groove (height of trapezoid), L1,2 - size of rubber layer lateral side.
EFFECT: reduced material intensity, improved efficiency of object protection and technological effectiveness of vibration isolator application.
