FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: multi-layer prefabricated rubber and metal seismic insulator placed on a support board in a through opening in a seismic joint of a building, a structure and comprising a packet of layers, every of which comprises an elastic elastomer layer, of a circular contour in plan with the radius R, to which at both sides the reinforcement is vulcanised - metal plates with thickness of δ. The lower plate is made in the form of a circle of radius R1=R+A, protruding beyond the borders of the elastomer layer by the value A, so that R1/R≥1.1, the upper plate is made in the form of a regular polygon with the radius of the inscribed circle r, exceeding the radius of the lower plate R1 by the value L=r-R1 so that L/R1≥0.5, the lower plate is cut from the limiter plate, which is smaller and geometrically similar to the upper plate, as a result a mounting gap is produced Δ between the edge of the lower plate of the above seismic insulator layer and the inner curvilinear edge of the opening in the limiter plate, and the distance h between external edges of the upper plate and appropriate external edges of the limiter plate meets the ratio h≥b, where b - width of a contoured welding seam, with which a part of the limiter plate with a circular cut left after cutting the lower plate is welded to the upper plate. The limiter plate itself is separated with cuts along radial beams into mutually symmetrical segments, welded to the upper plate of the seismic insulator layer both along the external contour and along rectilinear sides along cuts between these segments. On the upper plane of the support plate there is an embedded part fixed in the form of a limiter plate, similar to the limiter plate welded to the upper reinforcement plate of each layer of the prefabricated seismic insulator. A ceiling of a through niche has an embedded part in the form of a circular ledge, similar to configuration of the lower reinforcement plate of the layer of the prefabricated seismic insulator and protruding beyond the upper face of the through niche for the thickness of reinforcement δ.

EFFECT: provision of seismic protection of buildings, structures against vertical and horizontal vibrations, simplified process of seismic insulator manufacturing, provision of complex protection against natural and anthropogenic vibration with availability of both types of effects.
