FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed engine comprises rotor, housing, crankshaft, con rod, piston and cover. Stationary housing comprises cylinder, combustion chamber, separated from but communicated with cylinder, intake and exhaust openings and web separating them. Housing can optionally accommodate rotor. Crankshaft is held in place to revolve. Con rod is articulated with crankshaft. Piston is linked with con rod via joints. Rotor can be arranged on housing outer surface to revolve around housing outer surface. Said revolution complies with that of crankshaft. Cover is pivoted in place with combustion chamber open-close seal. Rotor comprises channel running to, approximately, half the rotor circumference and can accommodate the cover. Cylinder comprises additionally, cylinder valve that allows an unidirectional flow of channel content into cylinder. Combustion chamber comprises additionally chamber valve to allow unidirectional flow of cylinder content into combustion chamber.
EFFECT: higher reliability, efficiency and power, reduced weight and better ecology.
