FIELD: mechanical engineering; rotary engines for use in transport. SUBSTANCE: rotary internal combustion engine with liquid locking ring has housing hollow in its middle part, main shaft with hollow tenons, drum fitted on tenons and provided with space of accommodating liquid locking ring, rotor with end face radial sides with partitions fitted in between. Rotor installed on crank of crankshaft inside drum has at least two combustion chambers arranged at equal angular distances and periodically communicating with scavenging, cooling and fuel system and with exhaust gas duct and connected to ignition system. It has power takeoff mechanism mechanically coupled with crankshaft and rotor. Combustion chambers are made in form of rotor space compartments limited by rotor body, its end face sides and partitions between sides.
