METHOD OF RADIO-GRAPHIC CHECK IMPLEMENTING PHOSPHOROUS PLATES WITH MEMORY PROPERTY Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC G01N23/18

FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: phosphorous plate with memory property is arranged on checked object. The object is X-rayed at X-ray tube voltage 10-30% lowered compared to X-raying of radio-graphic-film. Yet, this voltage for plate should facilitate the raying exposure value not bigger, than for film. Achieved sensitivity of check is evaluated by an obtained computer pattern from the memory phosphorous plate. When there is obtained sensitivity of check as high (not bigger in mm) on image from the phosphorous memory plate, as on radio-graphic film, the applied value of voltage of the x-ray tube (radiant energy value) is registered. Further the checked object is radiated on the phosphorous memory plate at the specified voltage of the X-ray tube (radiant energy value) and with corresponding check by standards of obtained sensitivity of radio-graphic control.

EFFECT: due to implementation of phosphorous memory plates there is facilitated lowered, comparing to radio-graphic films, X-raying voltage of X-ray tube at maintaining sensitivity of check at level of radiographic film sensitivity check; elimination of photo processing; facilitation of repeated usage of phosphorous memory plates and automatic de-coding radiograms by means of computer processing.
