FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method of electric power transmission in high vacuum involves generation of directional beams of glow discharge plasma, forming of transmission channel between power source and receiver, and power transmission over the channel. Transmission channel is formed by tungsten filament heated to 2000-2500°C and emitting electrons, and electromagnetic coils mounted on electric current source and receiver and forming directional electron flow. Additionally invention claims device for method implementation.
EFFECT: improved efficiency and reduced loss in electric power transfer in high vacuum.
