FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: inductive transducer of conductivity of sea water has supply and measuring toroidal transformers connected to each other by a volumetric coil of water and are enclosed in a protective casing. The volumetric coil of water is in form of two parallel channels having a common input and output. Each of the parallel channels is inside the first or second toroidal cores of the supply transformer and the measuring transformer encircles only one of the two parallel channels.
EFFECT: invention avoids the effect of external objects on the measured conductivity of water, which increases measurement accuracy and spatial resolving power of the transducer.
