SUBSTANCE: method and device for decoding audio signals and a method and device for coding audio signals can efficiently process object-based audio signals. The audio decoding method involves reception of first and second audio signals which are object-coded; generation of third information on energy of the object based on first information on energy of the object contained in the first audio signal, and second information on energy of the object contained the second audio signal; and generation of a third audio signal by combining the first and second signals from the object and third information on energy of the object.
EFFECT: more accurate coding and decoding of audio signals.
