FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication sessions based on multimedia messaging subsystem services based on IMS Internet protocols and particularly to a system for managing simultaneous communication sessions for such services as multipoint half duplex communication service (Push-to-Talk) of cellular mobile telephone communication (PoC service). The communication system includes user equipment (UE) in order to send a session initiation protocol (SIP) message, which contains information on the setting for supporting simultaneous communication sessions (SSS), associated with the user equipment (UE) to a home network which includes a server; and the said server in order to store information on the setting for supporting simultaneous communication sessions (SSS) and in order to establish the operation mode of the communication session of the server for a simultaneous communication session of the user equipment (UE) partly based on information on the setting for supporting simultaneous communication sessions (SSS).
EFFECT: more efficient determination maximum number of simultaneous sessions supported by each PoC client and provision for suitable setup of PoC sessions requested the PoC client.
