FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for aerobic treatment of sewage sludge and active sludge and can be used on biological treatment stations. The method for aerobic treatment of sewage sludge and active sludge which contain oil products in periodically functioning structures involves use of a preparation of oil oxidising bacteria Destroil which is added twice: at the initial level of filling the structure with sewage sludge and active sludge, which makes up 20-25% of the useful volume of the structure, and at complete filling of the structure with sewage sludge and active sludge. The preparation is added monthly in total amount of 10-15 g/m3 of the treated sludge and active sludge, with ratio of the preparation added at the initial filling level to the preparation added at complete filling of the structure between 1:1 and 2:1.
EFFECT: invention increases efficiency of removing oil products.
