FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: procedure consists in impregnating porous titanium raw material with halogenide containing compound at temperature equal to 1.05-1.25 of melt temperature of halogenide containing compound, in producing alloying reagent, in cooling produced alloying reagent and in supplying it under level of aluminium melt. Halogenide of an element indifferent to aluminium and titanium or mixture of halogenides indifferent to aluminium and titanium are used in particular cases of invention implementation Complex halogenide of an alloying element can be used as halogenide containing compound. Upon impregnation alloying reagent is cooled in gaseous medium. To control charge of reagents into aluminium melt and to produce alloy of specified composition porous titanium raw material is weighed before impregnation and produced alloying reagent is weighed after cooling.
EFFECT: intensification of alloying process due to reduced time of alloying and reduced temperature of melt; increased extraction of alloying components, facilitation of alloy structure homogeneity and avoiding non-metallic inclusions.
