FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes mixing of powders of active metals and their pressing. Titanium powders of granulometric composition from 0.25 to 0.50 mm are used as powders of active metals in amount of 25 to 35% and from 1.5 to 2.0 mm in amount of 45 to 50%, mixing thereof together with powder of low-melting flux in amount not less than 18% and molasses, and pressing of mixture is carried out at pressure from 250 to 300 kg/cm2 with production of a briquette in form of a tablet with its subsequent annealing at temperature from 80 to 100°C for 60 to 90 min.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to produce porous and high-strength tablets which are completely dissolved at normal operating temperatures of the melt, with high dissolution rate of alloying element and low energy consumption when alloying.
