FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: hydraulic pneumatic gate for complex protection of entrance into half-flooded tunnel of large section of special purpose against destructive effect of air impact and gravitational waves of nuclear explosion consists of movable and fixed cavity obstacles arranged serially at the entrance as separate or blocked on common telescopic beams. In order to protect the entrance, physical properties of water and gas mediums filling space that varies in volume between obstacles-floating dams are used, at the same time absorption and suppression of outer effect energy takes place due to disturbance of attached water mass and compression of gas medium enclosed between obstacles with further utilisation of energy they acquired for suppression of outer effect and recovery of initial position of movable gate obstacle.
EFFECT: invention provides for complex protection of inner volume of half-flooded tunnel of large section of special purpose against destructive effect of air and gravitation impact waves due to usage of physical properties of water and gas mediums, filling space that changes in volume between movable and fixed obstacles arranged in the entrance part of tunnel.
