FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: device has a charging chamber, a high-voltage modulator and an induction measuring chamber fitted in series in a gas flue along the aerosol stream. The device also has a second high-voltage modulator with output voltage of opposite polarity to that of the output voltage of the first high-voltage modulator. At the input of the gas flue there an apparatus which swirls the aerosol stream. The charging chamber has diametre which is less than that of the gas flue and is made in form of three electrodes.

EFFECT: more accurate measurement of concentration of highly dispersed fractions of aerosols.
