FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport and can be used in railway automatic brakes. Primary part of air control valve comprises body with cover with its boss incorporating outlet valve, movable baffle incorporating check valve, throttling orifice in said body and rod representing a slide valve with collar. Rod end accommodates brake valve whereto acts spring-loaded equaliser piston in braking and which communicates braking cylinder with standby tank via two sets of orifices made in channel. Plate spring-loaded main piston has a seal. Note here that outlet valve boss does not extend beyond cover surface. Valve with throttle unit is arranged in aforesaid rod on the side of primary part main piston. Said unit represents a set of washers separated by elastomer rings and clamped by lock washer on one side to communicate slide valve and work chambers via said orifices in outlet position. Valve body with sealing element is arranged on spring-loaded rod end ahead of valve seat. Spring is arranged between rod head and seat. Short channel with one set of orifices is arranged on the side of brake valve representing a dual valve shutting off communication between brake cylinder and atmosphere by one head and, at a time, communicating it with standby tank by another head of brake valve. Sealing element of valve heads represents elastomer washer or disk with semicircular triangular ledge with smoothed top and semicircular recesses nearby its base. Compression of said sealing element is restricted by seat edge on the body of said head and ensured by reduced compression force of brake valve spring. The head covers again the seat which accommodates at the prosected part of the equaliser piston.

EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions with operating parametres intact.
