FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to aircraft engineering, namely to aircraft fuel systems. Aircraft uses one or more main fuel tanks with fuel metres. It used also one or more auxiliary fuel tanks. Before the beginning of fuel consumption first phase, auxiliary fuel tanks hold back the fuel and, first stage completed, they get drained. During said first stage, aircraft fuel amount is indicated. For this, main fuel tanks fuel amount is summed, measured by fuel metres, with fuel amount remained in auxiliary fuel tanks and calculated using results of fuel consumption rate. During second stage, aircraft fuel amount is indicated proceeding from fuel amount measured by fuel metres.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of fuel amount determination in aircraft flight.
