FIELD: aircraft fuel-measuring technology. SUBSTANCE: fuel capacity is measured at test moment of time and present consumption of fuel is determined at next moments. Present consumption of fuel is calculated by altitude and speed characteristics of engines, readings of flight altitude and speed sensors and revolutions or torque sensors. Test moments of time are moments of start of engines or failure of another fuel-measuring equipment. Proposed system includes flight altitude and speed sensors, revolutions and torque sensors, computer, indicator and discrete level sensors and fuel density sensors mounted in fuel tanks. Navigational sensors are used as flight speed and altitude sensors and integral on-board computer is used as computer of proposed system. EFFECT: enhanced reliability; reduced mass of equipment. 12 cl, 4 dwg
