FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to elastomers, particularly to a method of producing halogenated butyl elastomer with filler. The method mixing at least one halogenated butyl elastomer with at least one mineral filler. Before missing with the said halogenated butyl elastomer, the mineral filler is first reacted with at least one organic compound which contains at least one nitrogen-containing basic group and at least one hydroxyl group, and at least with one silazane compound.
EFFECT: avoiding release of alcohol during production and during subsequent use of the article made from filled halogenated butyl elastomer, which then improves processing of the composition into the article, as well as increase in breaking strength and resistance to abrasive wear of the article.
