FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to cylinder electrodes for liberation of gas (versions), to process of electric sedimentation of metal consisting in anode liberation of oxygen on said electrodes, to process of water treatment consisting in anode liberation of oxygen, ozone or chlorine on said electrodes and to procedures of reactivation of cylinder electrode (versions). The electrode for gas liberation consists of conducting cylinder core and easily detached and replaced structure component corresponding to a metal sheet or mesh attached to the core from outside and electrically contacting the core. Also the metal sheet or mesh can correspond to a corrugated sheet wrapped onto itself and welded along both opposite sides thus forming a cylinder with primary diametre smaller, than diametre of the core and tightly put on it.

EFFECT: simplification of applying or reduction of catalyst coating, reduced time required for reduction of catalyst activity of electrodes and reduced capital expenditures.
