FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: manufacturing method of shaped composite materials involves the following operations: use of composite strip containing solid substrate having the main surface, and polymer covering this surface; shaping of composite strip by means of mandrel with formation of shaped composite part having the configuration determined with configuration of mandrel. During the shaping operation the main surface of composite strip is retained mainly in one and the same plane. The produced composite washer includes composite material containing solid substrate and layered polymer material covering the solid substrate. Composite material forms open annular construction having outer diametre approximately not more than 5.1 cm and ratio of outer diametre to inner diametre approximately of not more than 1.5.
EFFECT: improving performance characteristics of the obtained products.
