FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed station represents spherical housing consisting of two top and bottom semi-spheres accommodating hardware and equipped with string of hydrophones. Top semi-sphere accommodates signal conversion unit, analysis and decision making unit. Bottom semi-sphere accommodates power supply and data reception-transmission unit. Signal conversion unit amplifies and limits the signals, digitises them by ADC and sums up. Analysis and decision making unit can search for statistical parametres of weak quakes that forerun killer quakes, lock origination of SLF-amplitude modulation hydroacoustic signal and reveal signs of tsunami from intensity and duration of recorder hydroacoustic T-wave of killer quake.
