FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: signals of seismic vibrations are continuously measured by means of one or several stations for searching statistical background parametres preceding severe earthquakes. When extremely low frequency amplitude modulation of hydroacoustic signal of seismic vibrations is detected, forerunner of severe earthquake is recorded. Tsunami pathogenicity of the occurred earthquake is judged by intensity and duration of the recorded hydroacoustic T-wave of severe earthquake.

EFFECT: higher forerunner determination accuracy.
