SUBSTANCE: plug for screened data transmission cable, in particular plug of RJ-45 type, has electroconductive unit, which is made by combination of the first jacket (1) and second jacket (2). Electrically insulating body (4) of plug has plug contacts (302). Printed circuit board (3) inserted into unit has plug contacts (302) and cutting clamp contacts (303, 304), and current-conducting connection joins them to each other. Printed circuit board (3) is insulated from unit (1, 2) with non-current-conducting film (301). Strands of connected data transmission cable may be inserted into holder (5), besides strands are inserted into two rows in holder (5) arranged one over another. Data transmission cable may be mounted in holder (5) and in the second jacket (2). As jackets (1, 2) are connected, cutting clamp contacts (303, 304) contact with strands of data transmission cable arranged in holder (5).
