FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: in method for control of rotary electric machine (1) with at least two groups of stator windings (A, B), in each case every group of stator windings (A, B) contains converter (2). Each group of stator windings (A, B) comprises n phased windings, where n≥3, and each group of stator windings (A, B) receives supply from its converter (2). In order to provide for independent and redundant control of electric parametres of separate groups of stator windings in rotary electric machine, currents (iA1 iA2, iA3, iB1 iB2 iB3)) are measured in at least n-1 phase windings in each group of stator winding (A, B). In each case one control device (3) is provided for each converter (2). Each converter (2) is controlled by means of control signal (S) of according control device (3) independently on control devices (3) of other converters (2). Control signal (S) is generated in according control device (3) on the basis of specified measured currents in each group of stator windings (A, B).

EFFECT: redundancy, provision of independent control of electric parametres in separate groups of stator windings in rotary electric machine, simplification and increase of reliability.
