FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: in the proposed synchronous reluctance machine there is multiphase power winding on a stator that is evenly distributed along the inner bore of the stator and serves for connection to valve inverter, and also multiphase exciting winding located in stator grooves and serving for connection to controlled exciters. According to the invention each phase of multiphase exciting winding is laid in one of the grooves of each stator phase zone in the centre of this zone, groove section represents equilateral trapezium with the base at stator backside. Note that groove walls formed by teeth are tilted towards each other.
EFFECT: reduction of synchronous reluctance machine rotor heating ensured by decreasing of magnetic losses caused by pulses of exciting magnetomotive forces.
