SUBSTANCE: invention may be used for switching of electromagnetic starters, electric motors, glow lamps and whole range of other electrotechnical devices, start currents of which exceed their working current in established mode several times. Electronic relay with overload protection by alternating current comprises electronic switch, sensor of load current, connected serially with load, the first and second buses of AC supply source, unit of current overload protection and unit of electronic switch control.

EFFECT: simplified circuit of proposed device.
