FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: improved air cleaner on base of material polarised under effect of electric field consists of aerodynamic front fairing reducing static resistance to air flow, of back double suspension bracket to reduce air leaks, and of resistant central mesh facilitating combined utilisation of high voltage sources at the same time weakening tendency to arc generation and ensuring operation at higher voltage. Further, the air cleaner consists of dielectric support frame for material to generate more uniform electro-static field and to decrease air leaks at the same time reducing tendency to spraying in corona discharge and/or to electric arc discharge on ends of the central mesh. Also the air cleaner consists of, in essence, flat electro-conducting external mesh to generate more uniform electro-static field in all filtered material, and of a high voltage screen to reduce high voltage arc generation and spraying in corona discharge in the place of contact of high voltage pin with the central mesh.
EFFECT: improved air cleaner on base of material polarised under effect of electric field.
