SUBSTANCE: invention relates to forestry equipment and can be used for secondary mechanical treatment of forest seeds of coniferous species. Device for cleaning and sorting forest seeds of coniferous species includes the loading bunker, orienting-sorting device of cylindrical rollers mounted with the possibility of rotation to opposite directions, one of which consists of four sections with circular recesses having width b₁…b₄, corresponding to the maximum thickness of the seeds d of each fraction, receivers for impurities and seeds. The second shaft is made four-section with circular recesses placed in check disposition with regard to the first shaft. The depth of grooves c₁…c₄ differs in each subsequent section on the value of the width increment of the groove x, and the outer diametre D of each shaft is related to the thickness d of seeds as d·D=1:(45÷48). The value of increment is calculated by the formula x₁=b₂-b₁, x₂=b₃-b₂, x₃=b₄-b₃; where b₁, b₂, b₃, b₄ - is the width of the circular recess, respectively, in the first, second, third and fourth sections, and the depth of the groove c₁=b₁, c₂=b₂+x₁ c₃=b₃+x₂; c₄=b₄+x₃, where c₁, c₂, c₃, c₄ - is the depth of circular recess, respectively, in the first, second, third and fourth sections.

EFFECT: increased productivity and quality of cleaning and sorting forest seeds of coniferous species.
