FIELD: sorting equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for peeling and sizing forest seeds includes charging hopper 1, guiding vibration chute 2 with bottom, orienting and sorting unit with shafts 3 mounted with possibility of mutually opposite rotation and with gap one relative to another, gap being increased from charging unit to discharging one. Units for receiving foreign matters and seeds, cylindrical shafts 3 are stepped ones, they have ratio of their length values and diameters determined according to expression l= (0.6-0.65)$$$, $$$=(0.1-0.15)$$$, d1/d2=d3/d4=....dn-1/dn=(1.0125-1.030)$$$, where l, d -length and diameter of step adjacent to charging unit, m; $$$ - length values and diameters of steps, m; $$$ - total length of shafts, m; n - number of steps equal to 3-4. Shape and size of shafts according to invention provide most effective peeling and sorting of seeds of coniferous trees with the same properties. EFFECT: improved design. 2 dwg
