FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to installation for coiling and uncoiling rolled strips coming out of rolling mill. In the installation rolled strip coming out the rolling mill is introduced into a coiling chamber by means of a block of bending rolls. The coiling chamber consists of a pair of rollers driven to rotary motion. Strip rolled into a coil is transferred to a roller bed. Further, the coil is unwound with said rollers after change of rotation direction. The end of the strip is transferred to a withdrawal-roll facility. Also the installation is equipped with a bearing slides, in side walls of which there is installed a rocking lever. A hold down roller is attached to a free end of the rocking lever. The hold down roller can be positioned on the coil of rolled strip and can be retracted from the coiling chamber for the next roller bed.

EFFECT: simplified transporting of coil from bearing rollers of coiling chamber to rollers of following device for further transporting of coil.
