FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to welding, particularly to alloyed steel composition used in fabrication of welding wire for electric welding of armor steels. Welding wire comprises carbon, silicon, manganese, chromium, nickel, molybdenum, aluminium, sulfur, titanium, phosphorus and iron with the following ratio of components, % by weight: carbon 0.02 - 0.08, silicon 0.6 - 1.5, manganese 0.8 - 2.0, chromium 22.5 -25.0, nickel 6.5 - 8.5, molybdenum 0.8 - 3.5, aluminium 0.08 - 0.35, sulfur 0.005 - 0.020, titanium 0.4 - 1.0, phosphorus 0.005 - 0.025, iron making the rest.
EFFECT: absence of cold and hot cracks in welded seam, reduced costs, higher anti-projectile strength.
