FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to desk-top cutting tools. Proposed cutter comprises: table to support workpiece, cutter casing secured under said table to move vertically. Cutter casing comprises fixed case arranged around top side of rotary cutting tool, movable case that can be opened/closed and linked with vertically moving cutter, connecting lever. It comprises also auxiliary case intended for covering a part of rotary cutting tool, not closed by stationary case and movable case. In compliance with the first version, auxiliary case can come in contact with connecting lever to prevent its opening when cutting tool casing stays at top (waiting) position. In compliance with the second version, said auxiliary case arranged around the third part of cutting tool comprises a ledge. Note here that, in top, waiting, position, auxiliary case cannot move upward because of the ledge position. Note also that, in extreme bottom position, auxiliary case can move upward. In compliance with the third version, aforesaid connecting lever features configuration that allows it to interact with both fixed and moving case and displace. Note here that, in top, waiting position, auxiliary case can come in contact with connecting lever to prevent upward motion of auxiliary case.
