FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of purification of sewage polluted with mechanical inclusions, fats, proteins and other organic and inorganic compounds, in particular to electrochemical purification of meat-processing plant sewage. Method of electrochemical purification of meat-processing plant sewage includes electrocoagulation in electrolyser with soluble electrodes, coagulation with protein denaturation and floatation. Before electrocoagulation protein-fat sewage is purified from mechanical inclusions and non-emulsified fats and is mixed with manure-containing sewage, preliminarily purified from mechanic inclusions. After this averaged sewage with pH 5.6-6 is successively treated in electrocoagulator with iron electrodes with saturation of sewage with air oxygen up to 2-4 mg/l, then with hydrogen peroxide, lime, flocculant, sludge being removed by settling and filtration, filtrate being treated in electric fluorinator with pH 9-10, into which hydrogen peroxide is supplied. After removal of deposited sludge by settling and filtration sewage is treated with sodium hypochlorite and successively filtered through filter with coal charge, filter with cation-exchanging and anion-exchanging charges and filter with coal charge.

EFFECT: elaboration of rational technology of purification of protein-fat and manure-containing sewages of meat-processing plants to the norms of discharge into open water fishery reservoirs.
