FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: facility for conversion of temperature difference into mechanic oscillations of bucket pump piston consists of base, hinge with lever, thermo-dynamic body, heater and cooler. It is equipped with a device for transmitting mechanic oscillations to the piston of the pump in form of driven and driving pulleys perpendicular to the lever. Axis of the driven pulley is located at the point of lever fixing. This pulley has two rims of different diametres, the smaller of which with the rim of the driving pulley is enveloped with an endless flexible link. The bigger rim is equipped with two cables. A piston rod with a compression spring is secured to one of these cables, while one end of the return spring is attached to another. The second end of the return spring is fixed on the base. Metal with shape memory effect in form of a torsion bar is used as a thermo-dynamic body. With its one end it is rigidly fixed on a free end of the lever and perpendicular to it by means of a "П"-shaped bracket. Another end coaxially enters into a slot of the driving pulley. The cooler and heater facilitate torsion bar heating and cooling at its oscillation. The torsion bar is made out of metal with hysteresis of phase conversion 5÷10°C and working range of temperatures 40÷+40°C.
EFFECT: raised power of facility and ensuring its operation under off-line mode.
