SUBSTANCE: protective element includes at least two adjacent sections (103, 105) of identical or different colour, which may vary depending on inclination of light incidence and therefore reflection of direct light, or depending on type of incident light. Protective element also includes sole graphical marking (110), which continuously crosses two sections (103, 105) having variable colour, besides graphical marking (110) is simultaneously located on both sections and is accurately aligned without any interruptions. Moreover, effect of this graphical marking (110) is fully visible both when protective element is looked at from the face side and also when it is looked at from its reverse side.
EFFECT: improved extent of documents protection, reliable detection of counterfeit document, reduction of costs for manufacturing of secured documents.
