FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to peculiarities of construction of thyratron-inductor motors with number of phases m≥3. The proposed thyratron-inductor motor includes double-pole symmetric rotor and salient-pole symmetric stator with concentrated windings. Stator has 2m poles, and rotor includes two poles with four beak-shaped protrusions on poles; at that, surfaces of poles of rotor are made in the form of five cylindrical surfaces of similar radius; axis of one cylindrical surface coincides with rotor axis; this surface is located in central parts of rotor poles; angular width of this surface in each rotor pole is equal to angular width of stator pole, and axes of four cylindrical surfaces with angular width which is bigger than angular width of pole pitch of stator by two, two and a half times, do not coincide with rotor axis.
EFFECT: improving power characteristics of motor, reducing loss power in magnetic conductor and windings of reversible thyratron-inductor motors.
