FIELD: information technologies.
SUBSTANCE: procedures may be used for various networks 3GPP and 3GPP2, various architectures for detection of location and various types of user equipment (UE). UE establishes call in mode of channels switching with the help of wireless network for emergency services. UE interacts with server of location detection specified by wireless network. UE detects location in user plane with the help of location detection server in process of call in mode of channels switching in order to obtain assessment of UE position. UE exchanges data with PSAP, which may be selected on the basis of position assessment, for emergency call in mode of channels switching. UE may realise positioning with the help of location detection server to obtain updated assessment of UE position, for instance each time when requested by means of PSAP.
EFFECT: improved routing of emergency calls.
