SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to cardiology. For this purpose results of echocardiographic examination at rest and under isometric load are compared. At first, determined are time of isovolemic relaxation (TIR), time of early reduction of rate of left ventricle filling (DT), ratio of rate of late and early diastolic filling (V2/V1) at rest and with indices corresponding to TIR>120 m/sec, DT>240 m/sec, V2/V1<1 (0.5 in people older than 50). Disturbance of relaxation processes is diagnosed, after that growth of indices after carrying out test with passive lifting of legs at angle 45° during 3 minutes is calculated and with reduction of rate of late diastolic filling on 30% and more at the 3-rd minute pseudonormal type of diastolic dysfunction of left heart ventricle is diagnosed.
EFFECT: invention can be applied to diagnose disturbances of diastolic function when carrying out echocardiographic examination.
